Sardis High School is a Title I School                       
  • The Varsity Football team will play Friday night here against Douglas at 7:00 p.m.
  • You can prepurchase your football ticket for Friday's game vs. Douglas in the school office Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • FFA will be cooking Boston Butts the 1st week of October, if you would like to prepay see Coach Burns or an FFA member. They are $20 and DO NOT include buns.
  • Senior members of Mu Alpha Theta may sign up for an officer position on Coach Wright's door. You will vote for officers on Friday.
  • Students interested in after school tutoring can go to Mrs. Roberts' room after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays until 4:00.
  • ​School Day pictures will be made on Wednesday, October 11th during 1st, 2nd, and 3rd periods.
  • Jr. Civitan's will sponsor door decorations for Homecoming. You may also decorate around your door, the only rule is doors must be finished by 3:00 on Wed, Sept 26th and must be done by 1st period class. Winning class gets breakfast.

    Tuesday - Decade Day (Seniors-80s, Juniors-60s,    Sophmores-50s and Freshman-70s)

Mr. Burns' Drivers Ed classes were given a presentation by Rodney Cosper with the Alabama Trucking Association and UPS. He discussed the dangers of sharing the road with big trucks.

Congratulations to Mrs. Destiny Smith for being chosen as one of five state-wide finalists in the Secondary category for the JSU Teacher Hall of Fame. The Teacher Hall of Fame, sponsored by JSU, was initiated in 1969 to honor and give recognition to the classroom teachers of public schools in the state of Alabama.

In commemoration of Alabama's Bicentennial year, HudsonAlpha is launching Bicentennial Barcoding, a project to genetically catalog Alabama's native plant diversity. Twenty-nine teachers across the state, along with their students, have been selected to assist with specimen collection.
