My name is Amy Maroney and welcome to Sardis High School.
I have been teaching in Etowah County Schools since 1997. I am a 1993 graduate of Boaz High School, I attended Snead State Community College and Jacksonville State University. I received my undergraduate teaching degree from Jacksonville State in 1997 in the areas of Special Education. I received my Master's from UAB in 2006 in the areas of Collaborative teaching with Early Childhood add on. I have taught grades K-6 collaborative, K-2 low incidence, 2nd grade, 14-21 year old low incidence special needs, and 9-12 grade resource. I have learned you are never too experienced or old enough to not learn from others and a positive word goes a long way.

I am married to Stanley Maroney and we have 4 very active boys. Landon and Spencer are twins currently in school at Sardis High School, Austin is attending Sardis Middle, and Ethan attends Whitesboro Elementary.  I love spending time with my family, traveling, and running. I am an avid sports fan especially when my 4 are on the field, court, track, etc.
I may be reached by email and will strive to respond the same day.
Go Lions!
