BIOGRAPHY:

I have been living in the Sardis area for 14 years and I am married to a wonderful and Godly man, Rickey Hall.  We have 4 children, one girl and 3 boys. Our daughter is 16 and our boys are 20, 22, and 32.   The two oldest boys are married and we have 5 grandchildren ranging in age from 6 months to 7 years old. Our children are very active in sports including football, basketball, softball, track, horseback riding and they enjoy playing their string instruments and singing.

I am a proud 1988 graduate of Douglas High School where I played basketball for 6 years, AAU basketball, band for 6 years, drum-major for 3 years, choral group vocalist and pianist, and track for 4 years.  I enjoyed my high school years and had a lot of teachers and coaches that played a big part in who I am today.  I wanted to become a teacher to be able to give back part of what was given to me and help encourage others to become all they can be.  I chose the area of Family and Consumer Sciences because I enjoy all of the subject areas.  I am a very creative person and enjoy working with my hands.  I grew up on a farm and understand the value of work and believe that all areas taught in the FACS courses are practical and a part of everyday living.

I also enjoy working with young people and feel this is my calling.  I have worked with the youth at church and also started a youth praise team and have worked with the choir. We are members of Whitesboro Baptist Church .  I also play the piano and trumpet but my favorite hobbies are singing, decorating, and working in my yard and garden.

I LOVE WHAT I DO and hope to inspire others to develop an unshakeable character
and find their calling in life.
